 PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT

 Designed CMIG in 1988 to promote research, training, service and academics in the field of gerontology. The organization is now recognized as the Regional Agency of the National Institute of Social Defense(NISD), Government of India & Regional Resource & Training Centre on Ageing under the Ministry  of Social Justice & Empowerment , Government of India.

 

Received National Award in 2006 for generating and spreading knowledge in the field of Ageing

 

IN THE POLICIES AND ACTION PLANNING

Actively involved as an expert in all policies, laws & action planning for elderly at the GOI & state government level
